Mary Ann handled this (first time for me) probate sale and the process from my standpoint was seamless. She is professional, knowledgeable, responsive, thorough, personable, and completed all related tasks very quickly, usually the same day, including document preparation. I cannot thank her enough for her assistance and guidance. The house was listed and we accepted a higher than the listed price offer two days later. Escrow closed on time with no delays. She has my highest recommendation.

Best Experience for Probate Sale

Mary Ann Cortez from the minute I called knew she had to be my realtor for my father's estate. She was extremely sympathetic to what I was going through and managed my dad’s estate with such care and dignity. Always offered a helping a hand where every needed, even taking trash out and dropping things off at Salvation Army. Mary Ann is incredibility knowledgeable in probate sales, I never had to worry, she always kept me informed every step of the way. I would highly use her for any realtor needs weather it’s to buy or sale.   

We did not know Mary Ann before she became our realtor. We were very lucky to be referred to her. She stepped into a situation that required her to communicate, mostly separately, with 3 co-sellers who all lived in different states. From our very first conversation on the phone, Mary Ann was warm and welcoming. The best part was that she was genuinely interested in what I felt and had to say about selling my Mom’s house. My mom passed away a couple months prior and the compassion and caring that Mary Ann showed to me AND my mom’s property was so appreciated.

She always answered my questions and listened to what I thought but remained the quintessential professional and relayed her expertise and thoughts on what was best or proper and why, but never forcing any decision on me. I truly appreciated her integrity.

Mary Ann was prepared and had a game plan to sell quickly and for the best price for the property. She guided us through cleaning up and staging the house. She was detailed and in daily communication with all 3 of us once the house was on the market. She helped to make the escrow and closing process easy and understandable - I always knew what kind of document I was signing and what was going to happen next.

I think any licensed realtor can go through the motions of selling a home. What Mary Ann brings to her clients is way beyond that.       

When my aunt passed away and I had to sell her condominium, I asked my probate attorney who he would recommend. He was highly complimentary of Mary Ann because of her knowledge of the intricacies of a probate sale, which are quite different from a normal sale, her professionalism and her communication skills in keeping all parties informed as any sale progresses. All of that was very true! But she was also extremely helpful with the tasks of hiring personnel to clean the premises, remove furniture and personal belongings, as well as dealing with potential buyers, their agents and the mountain of paperwork required to complete the sale. Since this was not my home and I did not live close by, her help was invaluable in saving me much time and effort as well as significantly reducing the stress I had in dealing with my aunt’s passing. I would highly recommend Mary Ann to anyone needing a Realtor for any purpose!
